Education
El Paso County is home to nine school districts with more than 150,000 students. The majority of the region's students attend school in the El Paso Independent School District, Ysleta Independent School District and the Socorro School District.

UTEP
Founded in 1913, The University of Texas-El Paso (www.utep.edu)is the far western component of the University of Texas system. UTEP is situated on 330-acre campus in west El Paso, and is composed of six colleges.

Texas Tech University Health Science Services Center
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and its School of Medicine was established in 1969 for the purpose of providing physicians to serve the population of West Texas.

El Paso Community College
The El Paso Community College is a comprehensive post-secondary educational institution offering programs in general education, arts and sciences, occupational (vocational - technical), community services and continuing education, and developmental studies.
